Your Hosts

Your hosts Kevin & Linda FitzGerald will personally welcome you to your holiday home in Scotland. Linda is a born and bred Scot, and Kevin although English has lived in Scotland most of his adult life and we are sure he would be entitled to a Scottish passport!
Kevin FitzGerald

Kevin is an outdoors man and has a fountain of knowledge on the hills and mountains, as well as the history of Scotland. He is a keen cyclist (both road and mountain), loves pottering around in a Canadian style canoe, and his favourite sport is Clay Pigeon Shooting which he enjoys immensely. He takes a keen interest in the garden (when he finds time) and DIY (ditto!).

Kevin is a fully qualified Clay Pigeon Shooting Instructor, and it may be possible to arrange for a lesson nearby (by prior arrangement only). He also looks after a small fold of highland cattle and a private shooting lodge. Kevin also has local contacts for deer stalking and occasionally pheasant shooting (all by prior arrangement).

Linda is disabled and spends most of her time pottering at the computer. She is an avid reader and enjoys being a member of the local Killin Book Club (they are supposed to read books, most mostly they drink wine!).

One of Linda’s favourite pastimes is planning holidays. Countries we have visited so far are Canada (British Columbia and Ontario), USA (Florida and California), Mexico, The Bahamas (Nassau, the Exumas and the Abacos), Barbados, The Gambia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Iceland, Singapore, Greece and the Greek Islands, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Dubai and the Canary Islands. We also have also travelled extensively throughout Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales.
